In a few moments, we’re about to begin a journey to a gate. This gate that we’ll open is the entrance to your subconscious mind. On the journey to that place, you will leave all your ballast behind you and throw it off. And along the way, you’ll see how wonderful this relaxation feels. With every step that we get closer to this place, you can relax more and more. And don’t worry. You don’t have to stay wide awake until the end: If you are ready to sleep, you can just do that. You may not remember every word afterwards, because in this deep relaxation everything becomes more indifferent. And that’s completely fine.

In front of you there’s a wide staircase that leads further down. With 10 stairs in total. – They lead down even deeper. At the end, there is a gate. The door to your subconscious. Now step down these stairs.
Ten. There is still a long way to go. Take a deep breath. And keep relaxing. Nine. Now take the first step down. With every step you go, you get one step closer to your subconscious. With every stair, you sink down two times more. Every step leads towards stronger and warmer relaxation than the step before. With every step you take, you sink deeper and deeper. Eight.
